Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Williamsburg Landing. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents, guests, and staff. Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including meats, vegetables, soups, and desserts, following standardized recipes and guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food production.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, guests, and staff to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Participate in menu planning and preparation, ensuring that all meals are nutritious and appealing.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary arts degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a large production kitchen, preferably serving individuals with various dietary needs and preferences.
  • Food Handlers' Card required; SERVSAFE certification recommended.
Working Conditions

The Dining Services Department is a 7-day-a-week, 14-hour-a-day operation. All employees are required to work on any day of the week, including holidays, according to the schedule and shift developed to meet the needs of the department.
