Aerospace Simulation Specialist

Blue Origin is committed to creating a culture of innovation and safety. We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Simulation Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will develop aerospace multidisciplinary models and simulations using desktop computers, software-in-the-loop simulation, hardware-in-the-loop labs, and on-vehicle simulation. You will analyze and optimize vehicle parachute configurations and flight test programs.
Our team works collaboratively with industry and government experts to advance design and technology solutions. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality.
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace vehicle and/or physical system models and simulations
- Strong knowledge of rigid body dynamics, flight mechanics, and physics-based mathematical models
- Familiarity with Python, C, and C++ programming languages
- Experience with aerodynamics, parachute hardware, and parachute modeling and simulations
