Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our entire fulfillment center. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a healthy, safe, and clean working environment, as well as maintaining productivity, quality, efficiency, and inventory levels. They will also drive strategic plans and lead improvement projects to meet operational goals in the most cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with company policy and OSHA regulations.
  • Manage productivity, quality, efficiency, scheduling, maintenance, inventory, and other inbound/outbound functions to meet operational targets.
  • Engage in budget planning and management, collaborating with supporting teams to perform headcount forecasting and S&OP implementation.
  • Conduct staff meetings and headcount reviews to ensure scalability and flexibility in achieving productivity targets.
  • Implement performance review and feedback processes, training programs, and best practices to build a high-performing organization.
  • Analyze operational metrics and utilize Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma tools to identify opportunities for process optimization.
  • Ensure quality standards by monitoring KPIs and implementing corrective solutions to maintain high inventory accuracy and operation quality levels.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and eliminate operational defects and waste.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
  • 5+ years of management experience in warehouse, manufacturing, production, e-commerce supply chain operations, or relevant industries.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing large and diverse teams.
  • Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, lean techniques, 5S, and WMS.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to manage complexity and establish priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Experience working in e-commerce fulfillment environments.
  • Ability to initiate Kaizen projects for continuous operational improvement.
