Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client's team in Owatonna, MN. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, dismantling, and cleaning of parts, overhead hoists, and conveyor belts.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures, using blueprints and wiring diagrams as needed.
  • Design and install plumbing projects, and troubleshoot without direct supervision.
  • Inventory and control stock of supplies using a computerized maintenance program.
  • Specify equipment for upgrades and repairs, and demonstrate general fabrication skills, including welding, torch operations, and following simple blueprints.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree or vocational training (preferred)
  • 4 years of related experience (preferred)
  • Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions in English.
  • Knowledge of power tools and ability to take supervision and work effectively in a team.
  • Welding experience with ARC, MIG & TIG.
