Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at MRA - The Management Association. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for initiating contact with potential business prospects, converting those leads into MRA members across Ohio, and developing and maintaining strong relationships to provide effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Grow new memberships and maintain high member retention
- Market MRA services, including HR business solutions, training, and roundtables
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with MRA members, potential members, and business networks
- Make outbound calls for grassroots prospecting and leads with follow-up calls to potential customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell new memberships and services
- Partner with marketing to create regular campaigns for nurturing leads
- 5-7 years of experience in sales/business development, association management, or human resource-related field
- College degree preferred
- Experience using CRM systems, Salesforce preferred
- Valid Driver's license and the ability to travel throughout your territory, including visiting members at their locations, primarily in Ohio
