Our CFO Advisory Services team is dedicated to assisting clients in scaling for growth and navigating significant business transactions. We leverage our extensive technical and business consulting expertise to help our clients achieve their strategic objectives. We are seeking a diligent, self-motivated individual to become a part of Armanino's CFO Advisory team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives as a trusted advisor to clients, is resourceful, and desires to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Financial Planning and Analysis, encompassing forecasting, budgeting, and preparation of pro-forma financial statements.
  • Offer technical guidance on US GAAP and SEC requirements, including accounting research, documentation, and client presentations.
  • Prepare precise external financial reports for clients, auditors, or the SEC, including the preparation, review, submission, and distribution of periodic financial statements such as 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and proxy statements.
  • Assist in designing and implementing new accounting policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate and enhance the financial accounting close process, including expediting and streamlining monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Act as a liaison for clients with external auditors and internal stakeholders to facilitate audit preparations.
  • Support Cash to Accrual Accounting post-transaction, including Opening Balance Sheet preparation and Purchase Accounting.
  • Lead and manage projects while coordinating directly with clients.
  • Foster proactive working relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide timely and effective performance feedback and training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a public accounting firm, consulting firm, or operational accounting role.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • A strong and current understanding of US GAAP (exposure to IFRS is advantageous), with in-depth technical knowledge of topics such as ASC 606 revenue recognition, lease transactions, and purchase accounting, along with experience in the technical accounting or SEC reporting team of a company.

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. The compensation range for this position is $90,850 - $145,200. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
