Position Overview

The Shuttle Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing shuttle services, ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Compensation: Starting pay is $22.80 per hour.

Work Schedule: Flexible hours are available to accommodate operational needs.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve customer and employee inquiries and complaints in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of shuttle vehicles.
  • Review daily logs and reports, ensuring all shifts are accounted for.
  • Be prepared to cover shifts as necessary due to employee absences.
  • Manage daily shuttle operations, including the preparation of operational reports.
  • Supervise shuttle drivers and monitor shuttle service performance.
  • Facilitate positive interactions between drivers and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with operational reporting requirements.
  • Drive shuttles when required.
  • Assist in managing cashier operations as needed.
  • Handle cash transactions, including collection, verification, and recording of cash drops.
  • Manage change funds to ensure accurate financial handling.
  • Assist with ticket discrepancies and revenue management.
  • Support the processing of validated tickets and special parking arrangements.
  • Maintain a valid passenger endorsement.
  • Report any unusual occurrences or operational challenges to management.
  • Stay informed of communications from team members and management.
  • Monitor employee performance during shifts and provide constructive feedback.
  • Train staff on shuttle operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Review and understand all operational manuals and complete assigned training.
  • Notify management of any policy violations by employees.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures consistently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Education: A high school diploma or GED is required; some college education is preferred.

Experience: Previous supervisory experience is preferred, particularly in transportation or parking services.

Language Skills: Proficient in reading and understanding instructions, correspondence, and memos. Capable of effectively communicating information in one-on-one situations.

Licensing: A valid CDL Class A, B, or C Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement is required.

Medical Certification: A valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is necessary.

Availability: Must be available to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.

Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word) is required.

Additional Skills: Knowledge of shuttle operations, DOT regulations, and payroll processes is highly desirable.

Competencies: A proactive approach with strong customer service skills and the ability to lead by example is essential.

Physical Requirements: The role requires regular standing, walking, and handling of equipment. The ability to lift and move items up to 75 pounds is necessary.

This position is classified as non-exempt and hourly. A criminal background check and pre-employment drug testing are mandatory.
