Job Description

Job Summary:

Global Parking Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shuttle Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our shuttle services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and have a positive experience with our shuttle services.
  • Operational Management: Supervise and direct the daily operations of our shuttle services, including the management of shuttle drivers and the monitoring of shuttle bus operations.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Review and initial daily supervisor logs, including days and shifts not on duty, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Shift Coverage: Be prepared to work special shift requirements and cover shifts due to call-offs.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop shuttle drivers and other team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with team members, management, and customers to ensure that all needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve operational issues and problems in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
  • Experience: Supervisory experience in the transportation and/or parking industry preferred.
  • License: Valid CDL Class A, B, or C Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement required.
  • DOT Medical Card: Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) required.
  • Availability: Available to work special shift requirements and weekends as needed.

Working Conditions:

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle equipment. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
