POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking Full-Time Culinary Service Associates (CSA) with flexible schedules to work weekdays, weekends, and evening shifts. Shift times may vary based on operational needs, and weekend availability is essential.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The following outlines the general nature and level of work performed by team members in this role. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required for this position.
The responsibilities of the Culinary Service Associate include: preparing food for the Lounge and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patrons. This role involves standard food service tasks, including sanitation duties and various serving responsibilities. Knowledge of proper food handling practices and compliance with food safety regulations is essential. Key duties include:

  • Cleaning, portioning, and preparing various foods for cooking or serving.
  • Preparing a variety of dishes according to customer orders or under the direction of supervisors, adhering to approved procedures.
  • Portioning and arranging food on serving platters, trays, or carts.
  • Cleaning and preparing meats and poultry for cooking.
  • Preparing and serving a range of beverages, including coffee, tea, and soft drinks.
  • Transporting food supplies, equipment, and utensils to and from storage and work areas.
  • Storing food in designated containers to prevent spoilage.
  • Setting up and restocking buffet areas.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Requisitioning, storing, and distributing food supplies and equipment.
  • Labeling and dating prepared food items.
  • Completing food safety logs.
  • Washing dishes.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR CULINARY SERVICE ASSOCIATE

Successful completion of an airport authority security background check is required. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Experience in customer service or food service is beneficial. Candidates must be at least 18 or 21 years of age, as applicable by law. The ability to manage multiple tasks and possess effective communication skills is necessary for interaction with customers, passengers, and colleagues. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, is essential. Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Report to work consistently and punctually.
