About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Gemaire. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the inventory management and daily delivery of HVAC freight and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent Gemaire as a leader in the industry by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely delivery of products.
  • Load and unload products daily, ensuring accurate inventory levels and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Assist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise, verifying accuracy and completeness of orders.
  • Pick and verify orders for customers, preparing orders for shipment as needed.
  • Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
  • Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance, reporting in/out times with merchandise returns.
  • Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
  • Assist with physical inventory and inventory control, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
  • Provide excellent customer service to external customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one's regular job duties.
  • Wear appropriate PPE.
Requirements
  • Minimum 24 months of verifiable experience driving a 16' minimum box truck, or stake bed truck.
  • Ability to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
  • Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.
  • A willingness to learn and grow with our Company.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CDL Class B license preferred (except when required in certain states).
  • 6 months of Warehouse experience including forklift operation.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
  • Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
