Role Overview

We are on the lookout for motivated professionals to support our General Manager and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) Manager in managing various infrastructure projects on the West Coast. The infrastructure team is responsible for overseeing the design, engineering, regulatory approvals, construction, commissioning, and handover of hydrogen production facilities. Ideal candidates should possess qualifications in project management, construction management, or engineering, with relevant industry experience in sectors such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, or construction.

We also welcome candidates with a mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, or process engineering background, as well as those with strengths in project management or coordination, particularly with experience in managing projects across multiple engineering disciplines.

Junior roles are also available for candidates with 1 to 2 years of industry experience. You will be part of a dynamic team, taking direction from and reporting to the EPC Manager.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing design, regulatory approvals, engineering, construction, contractors, project controls, budgets, quality assurance & quality control, procedures, and logistics.
  • Support the Project Manager in developing and maintaining schedules, programs, contracts, design documentation, and specifications.
  • Utilize rational decision-making tools to guide vendor selection, design choices, and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain a strong emphasis on effective communication and proactive problem resolution.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.
  • Occasional interstate travel may be required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A degree or equivalent in engineering, project management, construction management, or a related field is highly desirable, though not mandatory.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant industry experience in engineering, project management, or project coordination is preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to interpret engineered designs, P&IDs, construction drawings, and project specifications.
  • Proficiency in MS Project or similar project management software is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
