Restaurant Expeditor Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled Expeditor to join our team at Emmy Squared Williamsburg. This role is crucial in ensuring that orders are fulfilled efficiently and customers receive an excellent dining experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain a smooth flow of orders from waiters to the kitchen to diners.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to prepare orders accurately and promptly.
- Conduct regular quality control checks on dishes before serving.
- Ensure cooking, storage, and prep areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Enforce adherence to health and safety standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience as an expeditor in a similar restaurant setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor.
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift/move objects up to 40 lbs. and push/pull objects up to 75 lbs.
- Able to stand/walk extensively and perform repetitive movements.
