About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our team at Spokane Comprehensive Treatment Center. As a key member of our counseling team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, individualized care to patients seeking recovery from opioid use disorder.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and support to patients through individual and group counseling sessions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct initial and follow-up assessments to evaluate patient progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate referrals to other programs or facilities as needed.
  • Provide crisis intervention and case management services to patients, ensuring timely and effective support.
  • Act as a liaison between referral sources and patients, facilitating communication and ensuring seamless transitions.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in a social or health services field preferred.
  • Prior experience in an addiction recovery and/or medication-assisted treatment (MAT) environment is highly desirable.
  • Washington State SUDPT or SUDP/T licensure is mandatory.
