JOB SUMMARY:


This role serves as the initial point of contact for customers, delivering retail banking products and services while managing various tasks related to customer inquiries and ensuring the accuracy of retail banking transactions.

Adhering to the company's policies and procedures, as well as all applicable U.S. state and federal regulations, is essential.

Responsibilities:
Address customer inquiries and requests concerning existing accounts.


Oversee the overall customer experience at the branch by assisting clients with deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, transfers, issuing bank checks, processing cash advances, loan advances, loan payments, cashing savings bonds, and any other necessary transactions.


Facilitate all types of new account transactions; promote the Bank's products and services; aim to meet or exceed branch performance goals.

Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and identify cross-selling opportunities. Educate customers on alternative service channels.

Conduct daily check scanning, vault and ATM settlements, manage night drop deposits, and assist with branch opening and closing procedures as required.

Multitask across various job functions to meet all service or transaction needs, including cash transactions and the establishment of basic accounts.

Investigate and resolve cash discrepancies.


Collaborate with the Branch Manager to address responses for independent third-party and regulatory audits of the department; ensure any identified deficiencies are rectified.

Maintain a thorough understanding of all Bank products and services.

Qualifications:


Demonstrate knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring, and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws relevant to this position, including but not limited to: Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act), Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act), Fair Housing Act (FHA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Information Program (CIP), Right to Financial Privacy Act (RFPA, state and federal), and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).


Possess intermediate math skills; calculate interest and percentages; balance accounts; perform basic arithmetic operations using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; identify routine mathematical errors; compute rates, ratios, and percentages, including drafting and interpreting bar graphs.

Exhibit excellent knowledge of bank deposits, lending products, credit products, and services necessary for account openings.

Demonstrate relationship-building, collaboration, and teamwork skills.

Have intermediate experience, knowledge, and training in all operational activities and terminology.

Possess exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Maintain a professional and helpful demeanor, with the ability to interact positively with customers and colleagues.

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Relevant work experience should include a solid background in Bank Secrecy Act compliance and general banking skills.

A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

3+ years of retail banking experience in the financial services industry.

Salary Range:
$37,000.00-$55,000.00 USD; Final salary will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic/market data.
