Job Title: Food Service Assistant Manager

Global Partners LP is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for assisting the Food Service Manager in all aspects of food service and beverage operations.

The Role:
  • Assist the Food Service Manager in the efficient execution of all fresh food and food service programs in compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines.
  • Responsible for the selection, development, and training of all associates in the department.
  • Ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all guests by responding to guest complaints or inquiries and soliciting feedback.
  • Oversee inventory and ordering of product and supplies, and ensure routine maintenance and upkeep of food service equipment and facilities.
  • Analyze food service results and trends, and prepare action plans to leverage the store's fresh food strengths and address areas of opportunity.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Flexibility to work weekend, holiday, and/or evening shifts, and assist other locations as needed.
  • Two years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a management role.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Serv-Safe certification preferred.
