Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at Global Partners. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the General Manager in the daily operation of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and finances.
  • Ensure compliance with established food standards, quality, preparation, and production procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Manage staff performance, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory levels, and paper costs to optimize profitability.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with all team members, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and support staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain our competitive edge.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of marketing plans, promotions, and special events to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve business objectives, including sales targets, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in food service management, preferably in a similar role or with a relevant background.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all team members, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
