Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Post Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team at Trident Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain overall accountability for assigned patients, ensuring their needs are met and their care is coordinated.
  • Manage the efficient flow of patient care, including screening, preparation for exams, and arranging for admissions, testing, and discharges.
  • Review and maintain patients' records, including posting test results and examination findings.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and instruct patients and families on medication use and treatment plans.
  • Respond to incoming telephone calls and refer calls to other team members as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice, or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
