Job Overview:

  • Drive intricate projects aimed at enhancing organizational frameworks within the designated discipline/program (e.g., Azure, .NET Framework).
  • Work collaboratively with IT personnel, the Chief Information Officer, and IT Managers to develop solutions that meet the agency's requirements.
  • Analyze application security assessments and partner with the development team to rectify application security issues.
  • Produce architecture documentation and design specifications for updates to application initiatives and supervise the application architecture evaluations.
  • Conduct targeted research for the assigned IT discipline/program team.

Qualifications:

Core undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 4 years of combined experience in supporting the development and updates of strategic Information Technology plans, participating in collaborative workgroups to author IT plans, and executing solutions design for the assigned discipline/program team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or advanced degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Experience with Azure Environment, including designing and implementing infrastructure/business continuity strategies, identity/security strategies, authentication, workload requirements, and Azure DevOps.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Computer Literacy, Application Design, and Software Development/Implementation.

Professional Skills:

Strong abilities in Data Interpretation, Active Learning, and Attention to Detail.

Knowledge of: Communication tools, customer support, state/agency policies, IT principles, network design, cost-benefit analysis, technology design, technical writing, and documentation.

Skills Required: Service orientation, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and policy development.

Additional Requirements: Ability to prepare reports and stay informed on IT technologies.
