Job Overview:

  • Direct complex projects aimed at improving organizational frameworks within the assigned technology area (e.g., Azure, .NET Framework).

Qualifications:

Core undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 4 years of combined experience in developing and updating strategic Information Technology plans, participating in workgroups to create Information Technology plans, and executing solutions design for the assigned discipline/program team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or advanced degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Experience with Azure Environment, including designing and implementing infrastructure/business continuity strategies, identity/security strategies, authentication, workload requirements, and Azure DevOps.

Job Skills:

Technical: Proficiency in Computer Literacy, Application Design, Software Development/Implementation.

Professional: Skills in Data Interpretation, Active Learning, Attention to Detail.

Knowledge of: Oral and written communication tools, customer support, state/agency policy, IT principles, network design, cost-benefit analysis, technology design, technical writing, documentation, and more.

Skills for: Service orientation, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, policy development, and more.

Ability to: Prepare reports, stay updated on IT technologies, and more.

Additional Notes:

Unless mandated by legislation, the selected candidate will start at Pay Grade $36, Step 1 of the OCSEA Pay Range Schedule ($40.70 per hour), with potential for pay raise after satisfactory performance.
