Position Overview: We are in search of a dedicated Senior Accountant who will take charge of managing inventory, lease accounting, and various ad-hoc responsibilities. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles to support multiple business sectors.

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in influencing and driving processes, implementing necessary changes, and leading initiatives with a focus on transparency, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration. This prominent position is designed to add value to the organization by delivering precise and timely accounting and analytical services to all business partners, empowering them to make informed decisions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately and promptly complete all tasks related to the general ledger close at each reporting cycle, including period-end, quarter-end, and year-end.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial data by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
  • Review financial statements and prepare detailed analyses.
  • Timely preparation of assigned balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions while resolving discrepancies.
  • Assist with various financial reporting obligations, including components of the Company's quarterly and/or annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K).
  • Compile inventory values and analyze changes in inventory, maintaining regular communication with field personnel responsible for physical inventory counts.
  • Ensure compliance and documentation of internal controls.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and the internal audit team regarding the Company's annual audit, quarterly review, and ongoing controls testing.
  • Analyze business trends and communicate with product managers and other leaders regarding financial performance across various components of the Company.
  • Develop and implement process enhancements aimed at reducing the time required to close the books while ensuring high quality and accuracy.
  • Complete ad-hoc project work as assigned in a timely manner.
Qualifications: To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
  • Ability to adhere to established schedules and deadlines.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding detailed financial statements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to present a positive image of the Company to colleagues and external contacts.
  • Approximately 3-8 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, internal audit, financial planning & analysis, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly preferred.
Skills:
  • Solid foundation in US GAAP accounting principles.
  • Team player mentality is essential.
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp new concepts rapidly.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient in other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Vena is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Coupa is beneficial.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are mandatory.
Compensation: $96,000 - $101,650.00 per year
