Position Summary:

The Vendor Management Coordinator plays a crucial role in the effective and precise oversight of vendor communications and documentation. This position entails evaluating and processing document submissions from vendors, following up on bid requests and outstanding service issues, documenting interactions in our internal systems, providing support to the call center, and managing incoming calls to resolve service tickets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and process vendor document submissions to ensure accurate profile updates.
  • Contact vendors to follow up on previously submitted bid requests.
  • Engage with vendors regarding outstanding service issues and necessary documentation.
  • Document detailed interactions in the company's operational systems and external client programs.
  • Support the call center by managing incoming service requests and coordinating vendor dispatch.
  • Manage incoming vendor calls to effectively close out service tickets.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree is preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service or administrative support roles.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and basic Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with high call volumes.
  • Willingness to participate in evening and weekend rotations.
