Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of previous medical/surgical and/or Operating Room experience
  • Surgical Tech Certification Required through an accredited educational program

Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged standing, walking, or other constant physical movements on a routine basis
  • Considerable physical effort on an intermittent basis as in lifting, pulling or pushing unwieldy loads (heavy, bulky, awkward, more than 40 lbs.)
