Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Coordinate and oversee the maintenance and repair of all tooling equipment and processes, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of necessary tooling parts, ensuring that all equipment is properly stocked and maintained.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate all project work related to tooling and changeovers, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Education: Minimum high school diploma required; Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive maintenance experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Skills: Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues.
The Maintenance Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with regular exposure to mechanical equipment and tools. The ability to work well autonomously and within a team is essential, as is the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
