Job Title: Program Director Assistant

The Chemical Abuse Services Agency Inc is seeking a highly qualified Program Director Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our management staff, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising counseling staff and facilitating program activities.

About the Role:
Key responsibilities include supervising and participating in primary counselor duties, such as screening and intake, client and family orientation, development of treatment plans, crisis intervention, and group individual sessions. In the absence of the Program Director, the ideal candidate may assume leadership duties.

Requirements:
  • Licensed by the State of Connecticut (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, and LMSW)
  • Three years of professional counseling experience; or a combination of a degree in a related field and professional experience
  • Must be bilingual (English-Spanish)
  • Two years minimum supervisory experience
  • Evidence of knowledge of the dynamics of chemical dependency rehabilitation, resources available to the chemically dependent, and appreciation of self-help groups
  • Must have appreciation of culturally relevant treatment and demonstrate willingness for the provision of commitment to such services
  • Must be a growth-oriented person willing to set and work toward professional goals
  • Must demonstrate appreciation and willingness to develop continuing skills towards multicultural competency within a behavioral health setting
  • Must have driver's license and motor vehicle

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience
