Position Overview

The Head of Regulatory Compliance at Augmentjobs will play a pivotal role in directing the formulation and execution of regulatory frameworks, ensuring adherence to all relevant legislation, and fostering relationships with regulatory bodies. This position is essential for protecting the integrity of the company's operations and guaranteeing that all offerings comply with regulatory benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Framework Development: Craft and execute thorough regulatory frameworks for the company’s offerings. Ensure alignment with both national and international regulatory mandates.
  • Compliance Oversight: Supervise and ensure adherence to all pertinent regulations, guidelines, and standards. Identify potential regulatory challenges and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Regulatory Documentation: Manage the preparation and submission of regulatory documents, including product registrations and approvals. Ensure precision and timely submission of all regulatory filings.
  • Regulatory Agency Liaison: Act as the main contact for regulatory agencies. Cultivate and maintain constructive relationships with key regulatory stakeholders.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Research & Development, legal, quality assurance, and marketing, to ensure regulatory requirements are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Regulatory Insights: Remain updated on industry trends, regulatory shifts, and emerging issues. Provide strategic guidance and updates to senior management regarding relevant regulatory changes.
  • Training and Development: Offer regulatory training and guidance to internal teams. Design and implement training initiatives to ensure staff comprehends regulatory obligations and compliance protocols.
  • Audit Preparation: Prepare for and oversee regulatory audits and inspections. Address findings and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Performance Reporting: Compile and present regulatory affairs reports to senior management and stakeholders. Monitor and report on regulatory performance and compliance metrics.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Law, Life Sciences, Engineering). An advanced degree (e.g., Master’s or Ph.D.) is preferred.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of experience in regulatory affairs, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity. Experience in the relevant industry is highly desirable.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements, guidelines, and standards applicable to the industry. Familiarity with both domestic and international regulations.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of regulatory professionals. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical Abilities: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Capacity to interpret complex regulations and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively convey regulatory concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of regulatory affairs.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adjust to evolving regulations and industry standards. Flexible and open to new challenges.
