Description
The Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service within a collaborative office setting, acting as the bridge between sales, procurement, warehouse personnel, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a team-oriented environment to achieve organizational objectives.
- Accurately input customer orders into the IBM AS400 database system, paying close attention to detail.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude.
- Resolve customer inquiries efficiently and effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients.
- Act as a liaison between departments to address customer requirements.
- Facilitate order processing as necessary.
- Handle pricing issues that arise during customer transactions in accordance with current sales policies.
- Assist in rectifying shipping discrepancies and errors, including obtaining proof of delivery from carriers and retrieving necessary internal documentation.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service.
Experience with AS400 is advantageous.
Proficient in a Windows environment, with skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a proactive and positive demeanor, along with strong organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficient problem-solving skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong customer service capabilities.
Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
Critical thinking skills to identify potential issues based on experience.
Strong time management and prioritization skills.
