About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team at Community Vision Capital & Consulting. As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to our organization in all areas of human resources.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in human resources, with a strong background in general HR administration, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding. SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred.

You will work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement effective HR strategies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with employees, management, and external partners.

As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing recruitment processes, including job postings, interview scheduling, and offer extensions. You will also oversee employee onboarding, including new hire orientations, benefits enrollment, and training programs.

In addition to your HR expertise, you will have a deep understanding of community-centered change and social impact. You will be committed to creating a workplace culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • General HR Administration and Compliance (50%): Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and progressive discipline.
  • Compensation and Benefits (15%): Administer benefits programs, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and disability plans, flexible spending, health savings accounts, and retirement accounts.
  • Recruitment, Onboarding, and Offboarding (15%): Manage recruitment processes, including job postings, interview scheduling, and offer extensions. Oversee employee onboarding, including new hire orientations, benefits enrollment, and training programs.
  • Training and Development (15%): Coordinate the annual performance evaluation process and create an organization-wide training calendar.
  • General (5%): Participate in internal work groups, undertake special projects, and engage in professional development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience required.
  • 5-8 years of demonstrated experience in human resources.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR Certification.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Google Suite; experience in Salesforce and ADP preferred.
