Job Title: Senior Account Manager

At Hirose Electric, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team. As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales activities within the High-Speed business segment to increase sales and implement strategic corporate directives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and build relationships with targeted accounts to drive product solutions.
  • Support regional sales teams with customers to promote strategic relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Lead customer relationships and provide leadership to supporting technical teams.
  • Provide customer/market insight to drive product development with internal teams.
  • Facilitate the development of marketing materials through customer feedback and industry trends.
  • Develop strategies and direct sales activities towards target accounts, US Regions, and Markets.
  • Create and deliver customized product presentations.
  • Direct the selling strategy on key opportunities, including pricing, service, investment, risk, scheduling, and technical promotion issues to achieve successful design wins.
  • Provide support to customers throughout the design and production process, keeping them informed of progress.
  • Monitor production of products and identify growth and future needs of customers.
  • Meet established sales account goals within the assigned customers and markets.
  • Comply with established Hirose sales policies, pricing guidelines, and best practices.
  • Facilitate effective communication between engineering teams and customers (internal and external).
Requirements:
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude with great energy.
  • BS/BA degree in Business or Technical field required or industry experience.
  • 10+ years sales experience.
  • Five+ years sales experience in the electronic component industry preferred.
  • Must possess the technical ability to fully comprehend customer requirements and provide the appropriate HRS product solution.
  • Develop systems and processes for effective prospect identification, qualification, and management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Organizational skills must be above average. Ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Possess excellent communication skills (oral and written) in order to work with both external and internal customers. Able to clearly and concisely communicate across different cultures.
  • Excellent presentation skills, including creating PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to resolve issues and escalate in a timely fashion and to the customer's needs.
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Sales force, along with web-conference systems.
  • Must be able to travel as needed. Up to 30% of time to multiple customer R&D locations and may include international travel.
