It is renowned as the host of "The Great American Race" - the DAYTONA 500. This expansive motorsports complex, covering approximately 500 acres, is celebrated for its diverse racing schedule, earning it the title of "World Center of Racing." The venue hosts numerous major racing events, including the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA, the DAYTONA Supercross, and the Coke Zero Sugar 400, among others. The Speedway is also a hub for various events such as track tours, concerts, and community gatherings.
The Ticket Office at Daytona International Speedway is in search of Ticket Operations Associates to enhance ticket sales and provide support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the sales and service of daily tours.
- Utilize Needs Based Selling techniques to deliver exceptional customer service, focusing on understanding and meeting customer needs.
- Continuously update knowledge on new events, promotions, and sales techniques to effectively communicate with customers.
- Create, sell, and process ticketing experiences using specialized software.
- Operate office equipment including computers, calculators, and copiers.
- Support offsite ticket sales and promotional activities.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Experience handling cash and credit transactions.
- Positive and professional demeanor.
- Effective communication skills.
- Familiarity with racing events and general knowledge of the facility is advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Major racing events at Daytona International Speedway throughout the year.
