As a key member of the Prisma Health team, the Nurse Manager-Ambulatory, Senior Primary Care, FT will play a critical role in directing and supervising clinical functions and activities of the department/practice. This individual will be responsible for implementing and interpreting policies, standards, and regulations for personnel, patients, and families.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with operational and physician leadership to make strategic decisions around clinical process, clinical workforce budget, and the purchase of clinical equipment.
- Maintain personnel records for clinical team members in collaboration with operational leadership.
- Supervise clinical team members, directing the selection, performance appraisal, and work allocation of each clinical team member.
- Develop and implement training for clinical team members in conjunction with the Education department.
- Identify patient/client needs and recommend new programs and services to meet those needs.
- Participate in hospital/medical staff committee meetings as required and act as a liaison/representative of physician leadership from supported department/group of practices.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a health-related field.
- 3 years of experience in Nursing, with Ambulatory experience preferred.
- Licensed to practice as a RN in South Carolina.
- Specialty experience.
- Supervisory experience.
- Certification in a specialty area.
