About the Role

Altasciences Preclinical Columbia (APC) is seeking a visionary Clinical Pathology Manager to spearhead our department. As a leader in the medical research field, we offer an exciting opportunity to innovate and drive excellence in a cutting-edge environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Harmonize clinical pathology practices across multiple sites, fostering a seamless operational environment.
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge clinical pathology procedures, setting new industry standards.
  • Manage a dedicated team of professionals, inspiring them to achieve excellence in all aspects of clinical pathology.
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance in all pathology processes and outputs.
  • Encourage the introduction of new capabilities and improvements to existing processes.
  • Motivate team members and drive strong cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Manage production metrics, evaluate trends, and implement action plans for improvement.
Requirements
  • Medical Laboratory Specialist (MLS/MLT) degree.
  • Proven experience in a clinical pathology laboratory, skilled in hematology, cytology, chemistry, urinalysis, and coagulation assays.
  • Natural leadership abilities, capable of motivating teams across different sites.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in clinical research.
  • Excellent teamworking and communication skills, a proactive attitude, and innovative thinking.
