ROLE SUMMARY
The Director of Provider Sales is pivotal to PatientIQ's expansion strategy, responsible for leading and managing a team of skilled Account Executives and Enterprise Account Executives (currently 6, with plans for growth). This role demands an experienced sales leader with a robust background in enterprise software sales, particularly within the healthcare technology sector. The Director will oversee forecasting, strategizing, onboarding, coaching the sales team, and ensuring sales targets are met across the United States.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and guide a team of Account Executives and Enterprise Account Executives to achieve high performance and professional development.
- Strategic Sales Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to create and implement effective sales strategies that align with PatientIQ's business goals.
- Pipeline Oversight: Manage the development and maintenance of a strong sales pipeline, ensuring the team consistently meets and exceeds sales objectives.
- Performance Evaluation: Regularly assess team performance metrics, providing constructive feedback, coaching, and support to drive success.
- Client Engagement: Assist Account Executives in fostering and maintaining robust relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in prospective and existing client organizations.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with internal teams such as Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Sales Operations to enhance sales processes and outcomes.
- Negotiation and Closing: Support the team in navigating complex negotiations and decision-making processes to effectively secure new business opportunities.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Maintain up-to-date revenue forecasts and provide regular reports on team performance, market trends, and other critical metrics to the Vice President of Sales.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Extensive background in the healthcare technology industry.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and drive a sales team to success.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to work in an office environment part-time.
- Ability to travel up to 25% annually.
