The Mid-Market Account Executive role focuses on expanding sales across 30 designated accounts within Autodesk's Construction sector. You will be assigned a sales quota and will be assessed based on your ability to meet quarterly and annual sales targets through various strategic approaches. Your mission is to serve as a trusted advisor to clients, driving revenue through contract renewals and the acquisition of new business.
This position operates remotely and reports to the Mid-Market Sales Manager for the Southeast region.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee your client portfolio by introducing new products and enhancing renewals to achieve sales targets.
- Formulate account strategies and manage the sales process for both new and renewed contracts.
- Develop a consistent pipeline of new opportunities to meet quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Represent Autodesk professionally, conduct client presentations, build robust relationships, and engage in industry events.
- Encourage collaborative selling and work closely with various team members.
- Collaborate with your account team, including Business Development Representatives, Customer Success Managers, and channel partners.
- Deliver precise business forecasts.
- Lead strategic planning sessions for key accounts in partnership with your account team.
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with a proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
- Experience in selling enterprise software within industries such as Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or Manufacturing.
- Demonstrated success in engaging with C-level executives and closing deals.
- Strong negotiation skills and a history of successful deal closures.

Salary Transparency
Autodesk offers competitive compensation packages, with U.S.-based sales roles having an On-Target Earnings (OTE) range from $186,200 to $269,500. OTE encompasses base salary and commission targets, with offers varying based on experience and location. In addition to base salaries and OTE, bonuses, stock options, and benefits are prioritized.
