Job Overview

The Facilities and Maintenance Manager is a key role in our organization, responsible for maintaining all equipment, planning repair activities, and ensuring the buildings are secure and compliant with safety protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures to increase equipment lifespan and reduce costs
  • Oversee the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program and monitor equipment wear parts and critical spares
  • Manage the movement of tools and equipment, perform audits, and update procedures as required
  • Generate and own the annual maintenance budget and prioritize maintenance activities based on urgency and resource availability
  • Organize and oversee team members to assign work, delegate tasks based on skills and experience, and maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers on process improvements and ensure buildings are fit for purpose
  • Manage outside vendors for supplies, repair, maintenance, support, and services, and ensure compliance with safety and security procedures
  • Coordinate and schedule vehicle maintenance repairs, track fleet usage, and maintain an accurate inventory of equipment
  • Negotiate service agreements to ensure cost efficiencies and involve in the recruitment process, training new team members, and monitoring ongoing performance
Work Environment

This role will be working primarily in Manufacturing, with a significant amount of time walking the internal building and external grounds. The environment is fast-paced with ever-changing priorities, and the ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple projects, work in a fast-paced environment, and train and educate varying levels of team members.

Requirements
  • 5-8 years managing maintenance in a professional environment
  • BS in Engineering or a related field preferred
  • Solid understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, machinery, carpentry, and other crafts
  • Ability to plan and manage within budget and time constraints
  • Experience with managing multiple vendors and small capital projects
Compensation

A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $72,700.00 - $112,400.00, dependent on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related factors.
