Job Summary:
The Customer Service Reservation Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all guests. This position involves assisting guests during the reservation process, enhancing room revenue, and maintaining high occupancy rates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to guests during the reservation process and throughout their stay.
- Handle inquiries regarding hotel services, amenities, and operational hours.
- Process room reservations with a focus on maximizing revenue and average rates.
- Collaborate with the Sales Department to manage group bookings and special requests.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations and guest requests.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for cash handling and credit transactions.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in a related field is advantageous.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with reservation systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- The ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks as needed.
