Project Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a culture of safety within the organization and ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Thoroughly review and comprehend contractual documents.
  • Oversee the general requirements of the project at the construction site.
  • Support the preconstruction and management teams with evaluations of constructability, planning, scheduling, and other preliminary necessities.
  • Formulate and supervise project planning, staging, and logistics strategies.
  • Ensure security measures for the building and site are effectively implemented.
  • Assist in the creation, execution, and regular updates of the project timeline.
  • Maintain comprehensive site documentation, including daily logs, site records, photographs, workforce details, material usage, and compliance records.
  • Implement and uphold the company's Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) standards on-site.
  • Promote and ensure compliance with company branding requirements on-site.
  • Maintain project momentum and manage the schedule to meet the designated completion date.
  • Facilitate proper planning and coordination for all site meetings and activities.
  • Manage tools and equipment acquired or leased by the company on-site.
  • Enforce subcontract agreements and supervise company personnel and subcontractors on-site.
  • Act as the primary on-site contact for all contractors, regulatory bodies, design teams, and owners.
  • Collaborate with project management on all project-related requirements.
  • Coordinate and oversee all necessary project inspections.
  • Work with corporate safety inspectors as required to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to the project and enforce company policies on-site.
  • Utilize and maintain data entered into project management software.
  • Oversee all substantial completion, final completion, and related project closeout processes.
  • Maintain effective communication with authorities having jurisdiction, design teams, and owners.
  • Assist in the training and development of interns, field engineers, and assistant supervisors.
  • Complete additional tasks assigned by the General Superintendent to ensure project success.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • NPDES Level 1A Blue Card Certification.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
Physical Requirements

  • The ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs and ladders.
  • Passenger use of construction personnel hoists.
  • Manual dexterity to handle objects, tools, or controls, and the ability to sit, talk, and hear.
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this position, the employee regularly works on-site at construction locations, where they may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, and electrical hazards. The noise level in the work environment typically ranges from moderate to very loud.
