The Project Supervisor ensures that all homes are constructed to meet Brock Built Homes' quality standards while adhering to budgetary constraints and timelines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the entire building process from contract signing to warranty completion.
  • Ensures compliance with Brock Built Homes' standards and specifications for all residential projects.
  • Stays informed about trends and developments in the construction industry.
  • Possesses a solid understanding of various trades and the specific scopes of work at Brock Built Homes.
  • Collaborates closely with the Construction Manager to address pricing, supply chain, material, and management challenges.
  • Makes informed decisions in the field and takes responsibility for those decisions.
  • Initiates and completes the scheduled number of homes.
  • Monitors construction schedules to meet or exceed established milestones.
  • Conducts weekly production meetings with the community team, including Sales Agents.
  • Inspects each home under construction daily to ensure quality work is being performed.
  • Ensures that homes are maintained and cleaned as necessary.
  • Maintains the yards of completed homes consistently.
  • Implements and enforces safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Ensures that only approved subcontractors are utilized for specific trades.
  • Manages the scheduling of subcontractors and confirms job readiness prior to their arrival.
  • Approves all construction-related expenses, ensuring that all products and services meet Brock Built Homes' quality standards.
  • Communicates any delays or accelerations in construction stages to the Construction Manager to align with selection deadlines.
  • Follows the field change order procedure for any modifications in products used during construction.
  • Enforces Brock Built Homes' construction standards with all subcontractors.
  • Organizes the community production team and assigns daily responsibilities.
  • Adheres to company standards and policies for all team members.
  • Participates in job start meetings to address any unresolved construction or budgetary issues.
  • Monitors warranty-related expenses and holds subcontractors accountable for their work.
  • Manages customer expectations and satisfaction throughout the building process.
  • Conducts site orientation meetings with Sales Agents and home buyers.
  • Leads contract and plan review sessions with customers and Sales Agents to finalize specifications.
  • Facilitates pre-drywall walkthroughs with customers.
  • Coordinates with Sales Agents and others to address customer inquiries during construction.
  • Handles potentially negative situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
  • Attends homeowner orientation walkthroughs and completes necessary checklists prior to closing.

Technical Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential or commercial construction.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Able to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Interacts professionally with all stakeholders to maintain a positive company image.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and developing actionable plans.
  • Maintains composure in stressful situations.
  • Valid driver's license required for travel to job sites.
  • Certifications: Level A1 Georgia Soil Erosion Certification; Residential Building Contractor (International Code Council).

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be physically fit and capable of high endurance tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Ability to move quickly and coordinate effectively to meet deadlines, including climbing stairs and inspecting sites in various weather conditions.
  • Must perform activities such as bending, stooping, twisting, and squatting, as well as working on ladders and uneven terrain.
  • Capable of lifting or moving objects weighing up to 74 lbs without assistance.
  • Able to navigate construction sites and undeveloped properties.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately.
