Position Summary:
Visual Media Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Visual Media Specialist to join our Multimedia Production Support Team, delivering photography services for a Department of Defense organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver on-site support primarily during standard business hours, with occasional needs outside of these hours.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute photography events and requirements both on-site and off-site.
  • Identify performance issues and troubleshoot system-related challenges, reporting findings to the relevant teams.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and operational checks on equipment and systems.
  • Manage the security of photography labs and office spaces as necessary.
  • Assist the Multimedia Production Support Team in organizing outdoor or off-site events.
  • Handle service requests and work orders related to photography services.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure smooth operations.
  • Generate and comply with reporting requirements, both recurring and special reports.
  • Develop metrics capture processes and quality assurance protocols.
  • Complete required training and record daily labor hours.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite.
  • TS/SCI clearance is essential.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with AR 25-1 and DoD PAM 25-91 is necessary.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills are crucial.
  • Ability to attend in-person meetings and conferences as required.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
  • High integrity and accountability are expected.
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership abilities.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% as required.
