Job Overview
The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Equipment Maintenance Supervisor.

This role is essential for performing advanced mechanical upkeep, assessments, and essential repairs on a range of small to medium-sized gas or diesel engines, alongside various departmental machinery such as utility vehicles, snow removal equipment, excavators, and similar apparatus, as well as stationary equipment within facilities.

In addition, this position serves as the leader of the equipment workshop or designated area, managing assigned equipment technicians, seasonal staff, or contractors as required.

The role also includes the development and upkeep of strategies, policies, and procedures pertinent to workshop equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute technically advanced preventive maintenance and repairs on relevant powered machinery.
• Oversee and coordinate necessary warranty services with appropriate external contractors.
• Responsible for supervising and directing the equipment workshop staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the relevant supervisor(s).
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, ideally with specialized training in equipment repair, diagnostics, or a related field (through vocational education and/or apprenticeship) and four (4) years of relevant experience, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory technician or mechanic capacity; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Requirements and Special Conditions
Must successfully complete pre-employment checks for criminal, credit, and DMV backgrounds. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required (subject to annual review for ongoing eligibility).

The selected candidate must either possess or obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with endorsements for passenger, airbrake, and/or tanker within six (6) months of employment.

The approved candidate holding a CDL must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and comply with GCSAA's Alcohol and Controlled Substance Testing Policy for Transportation Employees.

First Aid and CPR certifications must be completed within 30 days of employment commencement. Forklift training is also mandatory within specified timeframes for the department.

$56, $96,146.66
