Job Title: Team Lead

Job Category: Supervisor/Key Holder

Job Description: Caring Transitions is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Team Lead to join our team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for coaching and supervising team members, guiding them in the planning and execution of preparing homes for sale, transitioning individuals into their next home, and reinforcing company guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a welcoming and warm work environment for clients and team members
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure projects are run with precision and efficiency from start to finish
  • Demonstrate a drive for results and exceed client expectations wherever possible
  • Ensure all tools and supplies are properly maintained, replaced, and reach each job site
  • Lead the team in the organizing and sorting of household items for liquidation (i.e. sale, donation, recycle and discard), and resettlement (organize, pack, unpack)
  • Monitor and reinforce safety procedures
  • Accurately and immediately report all incidents and/or accidents to the Operations Manager
  • Report daily progress to Operations at the end of each workday

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School diploma
  • Minimum of three years supervisory experience
  • Compassion and respect for clients and their families
  • Punctual and attentive to detail
  • Ability to lead and manage a team in a unique work environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Outstanding customer service, organizational, written, verbal and communication skills are requirements of this role
  • Laptop and Smart phone including texting proficiency required
  • A great opportunity for someone who is semi-retired

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

  • Frequent lifting and moving of items up to 30 pounds
  • Transporting, placing, and removing household items for staging, donation, recycling, discard, and resettling
  • Walking and/or standing for long periods in varying weather environments
