Job Description:

In accordance with state and federal regulations, assists the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision. Performs various pharmacy duties, including assisting with patient consultations, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including patient consultations and prescription processing.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and prescription data.
  • Processes prescriptions, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs.
  • Verifies medication accuracy and checks for possible interactions.
  • Assists with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Provides excellent customer service, engaging with customers and patients to ensure a positive experience.
  • Models and shares customer service best practices with team members.
  • Develops strong relationships with most valuable customers.
Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
  • Prefer good computer skills.
  • Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
  • Prefer PTCB certification.
