As a Systems Engineer on our DoD SkillBridge team, you will be using your skills and expertise to research, architect, model, simulate, test, certify and improve cutting edge products and services.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop complex system architectures within contextual modeling platforms
  • Usher systems from operational concept through preliminary and detailed design, simulation, and test using progressive tools
  • Own system-level ownership of new products and processes through the product lifecycle


SNC is a leader in ISR and aviation, and our ISR, Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation. We design, integrate, test, certify, ground/flight train, and provide complete logistics support for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems.



As a cross-functional engineer, you will be working in a multi-disciplinary design and development team, and will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and technologies.



Requirements:


  • Currently serving as active duty military and eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
  • Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
  • Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
  • Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
