Construction Project Lead

The Lead Construction Technician is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the timely and safe completion of projects in accordance with plans and specifications. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage construction crews to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement project schedules, resource allocation plans, and quality control measures.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor and report on project progress, including cost, schedule, and quality metrics.
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- 5+ years of experience in construction, with a strong background in project management and leadership.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing construction projects.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
- Bilingual (English, Spanish) or proficiency in other languages.
- Commercial insulation, electrical, controls, communication/wires, low voltage/security, and/or heat trace experience.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and climbing.
- Able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Able to work in a variety of environments, including outdoor and indoor settings.
- Able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
