Job Summary

The Old Dominion Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Safety Officer to support the development of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies and programs for construction projects in Northern Virginia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement OHS Policies and Programs

  • Review and Update Existing Policies and Measures
  • Organize OHS Training and Inspect Premises and Work Activities

  • Identify Hazards and Ensure Compliance with Legislation
  • Promote a Culture of Health and Safety in the Workplace
Requirements
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • OSHA 30 and 500 Certification
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to Pass a Drug/Alcohol Screen and Background Check
  • At Least Three Years of Safety Experience
  • Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Reliable and Punctual
  • Ability to Multi-Task and Manage Time and Priorities Effectively
