Job Description:

As a key member of the PRO EM National Event Services team, the Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of vehicles. This role involves performing tasks that require physical labor at various job sites and heavy construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance tasks on our vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Communication: Keep supervisors informed of any vehicle problems or issues that may arise during operations.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness of assigned vehicles, both inside and out.
  • Equipment Loading/Unloading: Load and unload event equipment from vehicles, ensuring it is properly secured and transported to its destination.
  • Event Support: Assist crew leads with the setup and installation of equipment and products required for special events.
  • Navigation: Read and interpret maps and driving directions to plan the most efficient routes for transporting equipment and personnel.
  • Team Support: Assist crew leads as needed to ensure the successful execution of events.
  • Site Preparation: Setup tents, tables, chairs, and stages as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Site Safety: Construct temporary fencing and place road barricades to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner, with the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, and to travel as required.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License: A valid CDL is a plus, but not required.
  • Clean Driving Record: A clean driving record is essential for this role.
  • Experience: One year of experience driving large trucks is required.
  • Vehicle Operation: Ability to drive 24' box trucks and pull trailers.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.
  • Travel: Must be willing to travel as required.
  • Construction Experience: Construction experience is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
