Position Title: Lead Patient Access Coordinator

Location: Alhambra, CA

Employment Type: Contract

Compensation: $16.99/hr - $21.99/hr

Role Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main contact for facilitating access to the client's healthcare facilities.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications through various channels, ensuring efficient call handling.
  • Address general inquiries and escalate complex questions to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Utilize multiple electronic communication methods to relay messages to medical staff.
  • Responsible for scheduling and confirming both initial and follow-up medical appointments, including patient registration and insurance verification.
  • Perform data entry tasks, maintain data accuracy, and conduct reconciliations as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of experience in a call center, customer service, or healthcare setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Vocational certifications in healthcare are advantageous.
