Test Automation Engineer

This role is part of a Quality Engineering team to work on Azure Data Factory and Automation QE Testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and gather requirements from stakeholders.
- Create test cases and scenarios to ensure thorough testing.
- Develop and test scripts to automate testing processes.
- Execute test cases and scripts in various environments, including QA, STG, and production.
- Report and triage bugs to ensure timely resolution.
- Integrate scripts with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Document testing processes and results.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in test automation, Agile functional testing, and Azure.
- Experience in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and ETL tools like IBM DataStage and Microsoft SSIS.
- Proficiency in automation skills, including Robot Framework, Selenium, Java, API, and Python.
- Able to perform test automation during sprints and work on multiple application platforms, including Web, Mobile, Cloud, and Desktop.
- Experience in Agile methodologies is mandatory.
- Experience in database testing, including Teradata, SQL Server, and Oracle.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Good knowledge of DB2 and Cosmos DB.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in ETL testing, ADF, and automation.
- Able to build different test scenarios and acceptance tests.
- Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD auto-build processes.
- Closely work with deployment teams and resolve issues for the system.
- Experience in sending status reports, including test closure, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams to gather requirements and work independently.
