Medical Assistant

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in our team, working alongside experienced healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Room patients and take vital signs, including height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Complete patient interviews and histories.
- Prepare patients for examinations, tests, and treatments, and explain procedures as needed.
- Assist with procedures as ordered by physicians and may perform routine laboratory tests on samples.
- Set up equipment and prepare medical treatment rooms for patients.
To be eligible for this role, you must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one of the following:
- A diploma from a Medical Assistant Program.
- Minimum of 1 year of medical assisting experience.
- Military Medic training.
- EMT-P (Paramedic) training.
- Equivalent of 1 year combined relevant medical assisting experience and education.
We prefer candidates with Medical Assistant Certification, which we recognize as a valuable asset to our team. If you are not certified, we offer a tuition reimbursement program to help you obtain your certification.
CompensationThe hourly rate for this role is $24.52.
