Job Summary

Allied Universal is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer - Cleared to join our team. As a Security Officer - Cleared, you will be responsible for safeguarding personnel, property, and sensitive information with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide High-Quality Security Services: Safeguard personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
  • Conduct Site-Specific Security Protocols: Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information.
  • Escort Visitors and Contractors: Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
  • Follow Site-Specific Performance Manuals: Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel.
  • Respond to Security Alarms: Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms.
  • Act as a First Responder: Act as a first responder in emergency situations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Department of Defense Clearance: Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment).
  • Licensing Requirements: Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Security Experience: Must possess one or more of the following: Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site, prior military experience.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Intermediate Computer Skills: Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior Law Enforcement or Armed Security Experience: Prior law enforcement or armed security experience.
  • Associate's Degree or Higher: Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.
