The compensation for this role is between $174,500 and $325,000. Additional salary components may be provided to ensure competitiveness based on qualifications and experience.

Position Description
The Department of Surgical and Radiological Sciences at the University of California-Davis School of Veterinary Medicine is seeking qualified candidates for a clinical faculty role specializing in Radiation Oncology.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Duties: This role encompasses a 70% commitment to the Radiation Oncology service at the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH).
- Teaching Responsibilities: The primary focus will be on the direct daily supervision and instruction of students and residents within the Radiation Oncology service.
- Professional Development: The selected candidate is expected to contribute to the advancement of radiation oncology within the VMTH.
- Research and Scholarship: Faculty members are anticipated to enhance the clinical field through the creation and dissemination of new knowledge, documented in peer-reviewed publications.
- Service Engagement: Participation in university and public service is expected, which may include committee involvement, professional organization participation, and continuing education efforts.
Basic Qualifications (required at time of application)
- Demonstrated clinical experience and proficiency in radiation oncology.
- Experience and aptitude in clinical education.
- Record of scholarly work or potential for future contributions.
- Eligibility for veterinary medical licensing in California.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
